    Fuel stabilizer

Okay, according to the code on the side of the bottle, it says 14253-81337-13:27. So I'm seeing that it was made on September 10, 2014. According to the link and the information, it's expired. I'll buy a new bottle. Thanks kev2, now I know what to look for.

    Fuel stabilizer

Does anyone know if the fuel stabilizer STA-BIL has a shelf life? I used a couple of ounces about 3 y ago and forgot about it in a cabinet in the garage. I'm hesitant to treat any fuel with it unless it doesn't have an expiration date. Any thoughts?

    Sonic coolant consumption

They keep referring to the 1.4L engine. Mine has a 1.8L. I wonder if the 1.8 is eligible for this warranty?

    Sonic coolant consumption

Also, the car doesn't use a drop of oil. The level on the dipstick is always the same. I change it every 5k, full synthetic. Maybe a waste of money, but I like that oil and I hate to push it past 5k.

No, the oil is clear to light brown, normal. It looks the same as the other cars. Definitely no water in the oil.

    Sonic coolant consumption

I have a 2013 Chevrolet Sonic LT 4D sedan 1.8L with 90,000 miles on it. I bought it in July, 2015 and have put 33,000 trouble free miles on it since. I have kept up with the maintenance required. However, I'm concerned about the coolant consumption. After shutting car off after driving, I can...

Rear disc brake problems 2010 Camry

I wasn't looking for a cheap deal to save money. I have no problem spending money if the job is done right and I'm not being lied to. This is why I wanted you guys input to see if this sounded like a legitimate diagnosis and repair. I had to drop off the car and had other business to tend to...

Rear disc brake problems 2010 Camry

My wife has the car at work today, but I'll look asap and let you know. There must be a proportioning valve somewhere underneath where the two lines couple in to towards the front of the car. I didn't see anything new at the ABS module. I guess no reason to go there, good thing! Thank you...

Rear disc brake problems 2010 Camry

The bad dream continues. I picked up the car yesterday and asked how they managed to get it fixed. The tech told me he used brake line that was unrolled and form fitted to the underside of the car and re- flared the ends. I asked why he just didn't get pre-bent lines from Toyota. He said he...

Rear disc brake problems 2010 Camry

Thanks Bill, I was thinking the same thing. I took it to a tire shop where I've been buying tires for the last 10 years. The place is always busy so I felt I could trust a repair like this. The kid that worked on it, I would definitely ask for an ID if he was buying alcohol. So, I question his...

Rear disc brake problems 2010 Camry

The left rear caliper was sticking (not retracting) after taking foot off brake. Decided to take it in to get fixed. They recommended calipers, rotors, hoses, and pads for both sides and that's okay, I realize they should be replaced in pairs. When the hoses were to be replaced, the fittings on...
