2000 Tahoe gas pressure sensor

Where is the gas pressure sensor on 2000 Tahoe. Also is the MAP sensor same as gas pressure sensor and where is the location in case this is 2 different sensors.

Do you have any codes stored?.What kind of problems are you having?...Do you mean the EGR valve?....The MAP sensor is on top of the intake behind the throttle body...Jim

Are you talking about the FTP sensor, the fuel tank pressure sensor? It's mounted on top of the fuel tank....it is part of the EVAP system....

Yes fuel tank pressure sensor. My cousin removed the tank to change fuel pump and he is getting ow P0452 code. He does not remember disconecting or connecting this sensor at all. He only remembers the fuel pump connector been removed and plugged in back. That is the reason I am asking if there is a way to change fuel pump without removing or disconnecting this sensor.

He probably doesn't remember because the later GM units have the connector and sensor as part of the fuel pump assy. which by the way adds several hundred to the price tag of the pump. Transman
