For the last week the CEL, oil, battery warning lamp come on at the same time, intermittently while driving. All 3 of these warning lamps are in the speedo face. This has happened 5 or 6 times while driving for enough minutes to get engine warm and therefore probably in closed loop. They all will go off by simply turning off the engine and restarting it. Then they will all 3 come back on sometime later, probably the next day.

I checked VIN # JTJGA31U040004535 and find NO Recalls or TSB that pertain. The CEL is not on when operating normally.

Owner will have the car scanned for any stored codes. When I get that info I will post it.

Any ideas?

BTW, there has never been any drive-ability issues when this occurs.

Two stored codes: C1223 - lamp brake warning output circuit failure. C1249 - ABS outlet valve coil RR circuit short to ground.

I suggest a scan - looking up these issues without knowing codes would be a ghost chase.

Remember not all codes set the CEL to on...

sorry no silver bullet to address them all

Kev2: above your post - Two stored codes: C1223 - lamp brake warning output circuit failure. C1249 - ABS outlet valve coil RR circuit short to ground.

I have had owner save this info and had owner disconnect battery to reset modules. There is a slim chance that will correct the issue. If not the codes should assist his tech to make the appropriate repairs.
