Just came back from local fair, and every year this impresses me. I have lived in this region for ten years now and have never seen demolition derby's like up here.

I am a few beers in, but when you see the Auto Sandwich go around a few times, it is quite funny.

What do you southern guys do to top this?

Basically, this was invented up here by a local guy,.

Rules, just sit a car on top of another (preferably with someone who knows how to drive like you do), weld it any way you can together for the long steering column to last the few races and take away the steering wheel from the guy below, guy bellow controls brakes, guy atop has steering. That's it.

Tonight was funny, as the trend is catching on and it just gets funnier every year. But I have tried to scour internet to see if anybody else is doing it. Couldn't find anything except us from my local town "St-Hyacinthe" quebec. The above video is the fun we have, is the sandwich. one of the only ones I could find to properly show you guys the blast we had tonight, as every other year since the last ten yrs.

Tomorrow, if I am lucky, I will try to make my own video. A few of the stacked (one on top of the other/two driver) cars are left running and will probably do another stint.

But still, why is this not trending? Or are us cannucks just to crazy for you US guy's. I know the US guy's like big and crazy, why don't you down size, and try this on for size?

I know it looks boring to watch, but it takes skill to weld all that together and configure it. Last night, we had ten of them on track at once. I know a few of the guy's personally, and they do take care to try to keep the cars up right as the guy on top takes a good hit when they topple. But sadly one got hurt last, but it was only bruised ribs.

Good thing, the sandwich 666 will be back. Local farmer and sons. They have been going strong since 2011.

My son just found a video from the UK, they are competing against some guys from Australia who have the top car and driver upside-down.

I'll email the link to you in a few minutes.
