dome lights will not turn off ?

Please fill out the following to ask a question.

MAKE:Hyundai
MODEL:Santa Fe Sport
YEAR:17
MILES:17,000.
ENGINE:2.4
DESCRIBE ISSUE....interior lights will not turn off , remote started car this morn 7 degree temps in ohio .. car ran about 10 min opened door and closed , both map lights and the 2 by pass area staying on turned car off then back on still same .... now the were not on while the car was warming up so dimmer was not touched .. need help quick please Thanks

Probably a switch that is built into driver door latch is frozen and causing your problem. May resolve itself as interior warms up. If you have any sun, park vehicle so sun warms up that side of the car.
The car is probably smart enough to turn off interior light after a few minutes, if no door latch is disturbed. Opening or closing a door will restart the timer for the Battery Saver feature.

U know that makes great sense ! we did have freezing rain and crap weather and 7 ° this morning ... will pull in garage and put hair drier on it COOL Thanks Much !

fixed , wasn't door button , but somehow the wifey hit the buttons by the power sunroof .... so all is good : ) Thanks !
