Car had the P2138 code, took the sensor off the throttle body and cleaned it. Car worked ok for a couple months. Now threw the code again.

Reading around it could also be the Accelerator position sensor?

How do I find out if its the throttle sensor or the accelerator sensor?

Thanks.

FYI.......

Cleared the code to get it out of limp mode. Cruise control works, gas mileage has been awful.

sorry, what does that mean
The information is in the trouble trees... detailed procedure for diagnosing.

this is a correlation issue APP A and APP B - Accelerator Pedal Position sensor A and B. Their readings are not in sync, do not make sense, Are incorrect.

Be advised erasing codes will remove data, freeze frame info which could help diagnoise.

I would continue to operate, lets "ASSUME" a TOT, temporary Out of Tolerance caused code..
If it returns check freeze frame info...
