I'm comparing tires for my truck and have a question about the specifications. One tire shows 679 revolutions per mile and the other shows 686 revolutions per mile. What does this do to the odometer and speedometer readings? It seems to me in older cars the speedometer and odometer would register lower on one of the tires than the other. Am I correct? Are the newer cars and truck different?

yes tire circumfrance will affect speedometer and therefor odometer,

So what are we working on?- new vehicles are exponential more complicated- AWD, ABS, VSC,

keep it simple use the tire size on placard/decal drivers door
