What is the wierdest tool you ever fabricated under duress??

    Jokes aside, why did that vette end up a bench project?

    I thought the mega squirt did the trick.

    The wildest tool I made was a back caliper back off tool.

    That mazda had no way to turn back.

    I still have it. It just looks like a bunch shyte badly welded.

    This were we get crazy. I had no idea what I was going to do.

    I welded a block to resemble this.

    The Corvette is mainly sitting because it is no longer useful for me. I am retired, no longer "daily driving", and live in an area of often-congested traffic. A car with 500+ hp has to be stifled all the time, no point in driving it. I'm 70 years old now, night vision not quite as good as it used to be, and have had the same wife for over 45 years; she would notice (and object) if I snuck out at 3AM to go for banzai runs on the then-empty freeway!
