1984 Chevy C10 Pickup turn signal indicator question?

Doing some work on the cluster, but before I put everything back together, I notice that when I turn on the parking lights or head lights , the turn signal indicator lights both come on. When you put the key on and run the turn signals, one indicator light stays on solid and the other flashes...

Rear differential How do you disassemble?

Might not be so easy to drill holes in the right place. It’s right about where a couple strengthening ribs are. May have to come up with an idea to press the “bearings” out at the ends of these shafts. They seemed to be pressed in with some interference fit-tight!

Rear differential How do you disassemble?

First picture is of the differential that I am working on. Second picture is a example picture showing driving the pins out. I’m trying to get mine apart, but there are no two holes to put a punch into, to drive the pins out? Is there a tool made to work on the other side for extracting the pins?

    95 S-10 ABS light on

yes this pickup has the 16 pin OBD2 connector and I don’t see a second connector. I have one more code reader that I forgot about that I’ll try tomorrow. Otherwise I may have to find another VCM to try. Always a possibility that something had gone wrong with it??? That the light stays on...

    95 S-10 ABS light on

Forgot to mention that I can get data etc on the engine side of either scanner. There are 5 wires coming into the OBD plug. I’ll check into that info on the OBD 1.5 tomorrow Thanks for now

    95 S-10 ABS light on

This one is a manual transmission with a 4.3 and 4 wheel drive. Has the OBD II connector port. Tried 2 scanners and both say “ no communication “. Checked power and grounds to the VCM above the coolant reservoir and they are good. I know I have one front wheel sensor bad. But before I fix the...

Letting you in on what I did to this pickup to make it ' a little better'? A little more stopping power, please?

Just found this here tonight from Summit. Smaller the master cylinder bore the more pressure at the caliper/ cylinder. http://www.onallcylinders.com/2013/10/29/video-master-cylinder-bore-size-affects-braking/

    A little more stopping power,please?

Thanks for all the replies Been new rotors and calipers with pads put on the front recently. Also new rear drums I see but haven't pulled them to see if there are new wheel cylinders and shoes. Pedal height is good and things are firm. No pulling or grabbing or leaks. This pickup gets used for...

    A little more stopping power,please?

Wanting a little more stopping power on a 97 K1500 Chevy pickup 5.7. I know there are a lot of things involved to make this happen, but see there were 2 different bore size master cylinders used. 1-1/8 and 1-1/4. Am I thinking right about the physics here, the smaller the bore the more power...

Don't know if this is the end,but for now I've stopped. Customer didn't want me to go any farther. Spent a lot of time researching this out testing, trying, scanning, reading. But the conclusion we came to, was to probably follow the bulletin about the stretched chains. Then when we would have...
