Nope, can't do that cuz the metal tubing is the part that is rotted and leaking so I figure to cut that and the plastic connector and clamp them together with a high pressure fuel hose.

Hi folks! I want to do my neighbor a solid by repairing his fuel line on his S10. He's a Vietnam vet and a bit of a gardener and he always brings me a boat load of tomatoes. Anyhow, if he took it to a dealer it would cost a small fortune. All I want to do is splice in some high pressure hose...

Trying to identify aluminum block that joins trans lines on 2010 F-150...

Soooo, just fuel mileage will suffer, noting else? As I said my Crown Vic didn't have that. Probably a different trans though BUT the trans in this F-150 uses synthetic fluid. So sorry to bug ya but I need to be sure.

Trying to identify aluminum block that joins trans lines on 2010 F-150...

That's the momma! Yeah, we live in Wisconsin where it can get pretty cold so I reckin' I'll have to order one. I never would of guessed it to be that. I had a Crown Vic Police Interceptor and it had a cooler for everything and it didn't have one of those. Thanks so very much for the reply. I am...

Trying to identify aluminum block that joins trans lines on 2010 F-150...

My friend has a 2010 F-150 that has a leak on a junction block that joins the trans lines together. It's leaking and I don't know what it's for nor can I find any part numbers on it. It may have a check valve in it, I'm not sure. What I'd like to do is just join the trans line if all this thing...

    P0251 & P0126 1998 GMC SAVANA G3500

Well, it turns out that the thermostat was causing these codes and we don't need an injector pump like one shop said. Runs like a champ once again! I am truly grateful for the assistance that I've received here from all you folks. Danica and dabunk, thank you so very much! Take care, God bless...

THanks Danica! The driver didn't mention any issues with heating or running cold although that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I will have to check that myself. I will check back as soon as I found something out. I reeeeeeeally appreciate you pointing me in the right direction. Thanks so very...

    P0251 & P0126 1998 GMC SAVANA G3500

Hi folks! I'm trying to figure out what's going on with one of our school buses. I'm the tech (kinda) for our church school. If I can't figure it out then we send it to a REAL shop. There are things that I can fix to save them money so that's why I do this. Anyhow, I'm trying to figure out if...

MISFIRE ON ALL CYLINDERS, MISFIRE ON 1, 2, 3, 4.

It turns out that it WAS in fact a clogged cat. LynnM's suggestion of removing the O2 sensor really helped confirm that cuz the car ran much better without it. I ordered a cat from Advance Auto and with my discounts got it for about $180 for a direct fit. Hopefully it'll last a while. Now to get...
