    You would need a crystal ball. Neither you or we were watching what was being done. Turning with a screwdriver is common in some instances.

    2nd gear band anchor/apply struts and pieces of drum snap rings. Better quit and yank it. You don't have any 2nd gear.

    ANY flow from the cooler means the pump is working. NO flow means the pump is not working.

    Remove a cooler line and start the engine. If there is fluid flowing the pump is working. No flow means the pump has been jeopardized. Try this first. Then worry about electrical issues.

    The bushing can pull ahead and cut off the return hole.

    I had a customer one time that did oil and filter on a c4 transmission. He left the spring and valve in the bottom of his drain pan. Brought the car to me to see what was wrong.
