To billr, again, from memory, vvti. Not that it makes a difference. But sometimes ppl here give greif cuz you use wrong terms, but for sure it is a variable valve timing engine. ;)

Forgot to mention, and this is from memory, the non hybrid v6 is chain, hybrid is belt. Easy to mess that up. I will do a quick search to confirm, so as not to send you into weeds. But my mind says hybrid is a belt. I'll be back.

Dear billr , yes it is a vvt engine. So maybe one of the cams skip time, it is a timing belt maybe got off timing. IDK. Did tech do that right, but zero comp on one bank and spot on on the other one, gives me a dang good indication where to look. Anyway, we will see. cheers all, gotta go.

I am surprised I missed this one. Sorry for overlooking that BC. Highly doubt that they use same relay for horn AND flasher. That would be a safety issue. Maybe start looking at the clockspring. Cuz in all my years doing this, never have I seen a integration relay for horn and flasher on one...

dear billr, in a opti spark system, much like honda POS this error, cam and crank all go through pcm, if cam dat loss, no start. Unconventional, ppl didnt like it, and so went away trhe opti spatk system. Too much time for glitch etc.
