Hello again,

I've noticed minor eng oil leak in between the engine and transmission. I suspected rear main seal, but after reading on a Toyota website, someone had mentioned that it could be the oil pan leaking as it was found to be a more common with this truck. So with that in mind, I want to remove the No. 1 oil pan, Oil baffle Plate & No. 2 oil pan and reseal with new gasket material. Has anyone done one of these? If so does engine have to be lifted up some to access bolts?

It calls for 2.5hrs for lower oil pan, but if you want baffle, add 0.2hr. So yeah, need to jack and remove stuff, not a 5min job.

removing the upper oil pan, well that is a whole different story. a whopping 14.4hrs.

Scratch what I said, I went into mitchel with a 2008. Yours is a 2003, To do what you want to do, 17.3hrs.
