Regarding the light fail sensor. I checked rockauto.com, O'reillys,Advance and others, but found no new light fail sensors. I found a used one on Ebay for $29.99 (which could fail at anytime). So I decided to simply leave the sensor jumped.

So the good news-> brake lights (all 3 work) now work correctly.
The bad news->the now TAIL LIGHTS lights are NOT lighting. All the other rear lights work fine->license plate light, rear side lights, and of course the brake lights.
Previously when we were working on the correcting the brake lights as I remember the tail lights WERE working fine. I will re-check tail lights; hopefully the reason they are not working is something simple. If I can't solve it I may post a new question.

Anyway I appreciate your help and patience with correcting the brake lights. I never would have figured it out on my own.

Please have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Thanks, Joe

Is that yellow module completely out of the circuit now, or did it now fail in yet another way? I haven't looked at the schematic yet again, but I think bypassing the module's function for the tail-light may be more complicated. I think there is some AND/OR logic in there to handle the turn signals.

Please pardon the delay.
The tail lights are NOW LIGHTING; checked them multiple times including today. I do not know why they failed to light previously. The only check I did was to remove and test the tail lights fuse resistance. My my plan now is to monitor the lights and if I have additional problems I plan to let you know.

Thanks and Happy New Year, Joe
