My Astro Van hazard lights work but blinkers only light up, won't blink. What can cause this?

Most likely is the hazard flasher. Yes, the hazard flasher is a different unit than the turn flasher.

Why do you think that, Jack??? The OP said the hazard lights are the ones not flashing.

I guess I should ask... do the turn signals operate (blink) correctly?

I have read it several times, the OP never mentioned the turn signal lights. I guess we need clarification.

My understanding is that the hazard lights, lamps at all four corners that normally blink simultaneously, light up when the "hazard warning" switch is activated, but the lamps all stay on and don't blink. Is that correct? And, when the "hazard warning" switch is deactivated those lamps all turn off, as they should.

OK, I can see how you guys could read it that way, but without clarification from the OP it is ambiguous. Could be either.
