2017 Silverado 8speed - hard 1st to 2nd & 2nd to 1st. Jumpy RPMs at light throttle on highway.

I have a 2017 Silverado with the 8 speed transmission. It sometimes slaps from 1st to 2nd gear and also slowing down from 2nd to 1st. I also noticed that the transmission slips? or more like the RPM bounces around 200-500 rpm jumps. I only see it happen when its an 8th gear going 55 mph +. Truck has 60,000 miles. The hard 1/2 shift could be a few things.
The other is the TCC being applied and released. At that speed it's on the line.
