I have a 1998 S10 with a 2.2L. It comes with a 4L60E transmission with a GM61CWHD torque converter which has a 27 spline. I purchased a rebuilt 4L60E transmission with a 30 spline input shaft. I was wondering if there is a torque converter out there that has 30 spline that will bolt up to the 2.2L S10 or would I half to have the new rebuilt transmission I just bought sent in to Change the input shaft to a 27 spline?

Personally, I think you will be best off to have the trans replaced/rebuilt to have the correct spline for your application. Especially if it was the vendor's mistake, they should take care of that at no cost to you.

you can get any reliable transmission shop to change out the input shaft or drum to get it right i havent seen a 30 spline converter for the 2.2L motor
