Putting rebuilt valve body in. When taking out the old one took off reverse servo cover, few seconds latter revese servo fell out. I know should have been ready for it. It hit near my head. Is there a spring or anything that goes under the servo? Worried it may have bounced somewhere. Does servo just go straight back in with cover holding it up?

Im sure its the 4r55e. Found this in a ranger forum. The A4LD four speed overdrive transmission was introduced in the 1985 Bronco II/Ranger and saw use behind many 4 and 6 cylinder engines until the 1995 model year when it was replaced by the 4R44E and 4R55E electronic transmissions.
