I am going to change the power steering pump in my 93 Camry V6, 5 spd. I have been told and have read that the worst part of the job is accessing the pressure hose fittings on the top of the pump, and that the tool of choice is a crow foot wrench. The SST in the factory manual looks more like a flare nut wrench. I would appreciate any advice about needed tools or any pitfalls with this job. There isn't much step by step in the factory manual.

Re: 93 Camry reply by Paul

I was having my mechanic check some oil leaks and he told me that my pump and possibly my high pressure line was leaking. I'm going to spray it all down with engine cleaner and hose it off and drive for a few days to make sure myself where the leaks are. I am losing quite a bit of fluid. Maybe it's only the hose.
