I have 96 s10. And the service engine light came on. I had the codes read,p1870,p0122. One is the throttle position senser . the other one is transmision slipping componet? where are these things . & can I fix it myself?

You need to post your mileage and engine and transmission repair and service information.
Along with what it is doing or not doing.
First step on repair is clear codes and see what comes back and how often.
Code 122 is tps low voltage.
The TPS sensor is on the TBI.
You need to run a voltage test on it.
