'99 Ford 150 serp belt idler

It is the upper idler, on a 4.2L V-6 The obvious way to R&R that Idler is to remove the single big screw through its bearing. However, it is a big screw with small (Torx) drive. It won't budge in either direction, and e even snapped a Torx bit going hard in the CCW direction. Is that idler mounted in a bracket that can be removed? Does the alt have to come out (or loose, at least) to get the idler bracket out? Anything regarding heat, penetrating oil, impact, etc on the center screw looks to be impossible unless I can get that beast out in the open. I'm sure hoping it is on a removable bracket! If it isn't, the only way I see is to cut the old pulley/bearing off with a grinder and then use a pipe wrench (+ heat, penetrating oil, etc) on the screw. A tedious process...

Never mind... It is most likely a bad alt bearing, the alt is coming out anyway.
