Battery power (voltage) level drops below level to crank engine

The very last thing you changed was re-attaching the negative battery terminal, correct? Yeah keep us updated for a while. It will be interesting if this stays "fixed".

It seems you and nickb2 may have gotten "cross-threaded". As always, the best solution is to back off and try again. Nickb2 is a valuable contributor here, but has been very busy lately, so may not be reading all threads thoroughly; and English is a "second language" for him. There may simply be some misunderstanding by either of you.

yes, I am simply reattaching negative battery cable to battery, tighten with 10 mm wrench, when I want to start engine. When I am done simply detach the cable.

Update: this morning was a bit cooler around 40 degrees. Nevertheless, the ole boy cranked and started fine.
I wish I knew why it went through previous period when it would not crank. However
you may have already explained this in your previous reply # 73.
