Update:

A reputable shop diagnosed and confirmed the module is bad. Bad news is that with the programming requirements, etc. they will be unable to perform the job. Suggested a trip to the dealership.
Call shops and tell them what you need done and they will tell you if they have the programming tool. You could buy your own for under 200.

Update:

Fixed? Possibly so. The dealership confirmed the 3211 code and diagnosed the problem as a defective brake module. They also identified the VTEC screen leaking oil and a dry rotted intake boot. They replaced those three items and so we shall see.

Wondering if I could have caused the failure. A few months ago I replaced the front rotors and pads. I pushed the caliper back in as I have always done. Could I have done something wrong?
