Believe it was the year 1986 where these new air bags laws required all children to ride in the rear seat. With more than two grand kids, could not fit three child's car seats in the year seat so necessary to purchased a minivan, Chrysler T&C's were very popular, but the head gaskets and AT were only good for 100K miles. They had next to zero value at this point.
Well back in the 80's, most US cars were junk, but Japan taught them they better do a much better job. T&C's are much better today.
Don't get any tax cred8ts for buying one, matter of fact if making minimum wages above poverty wages, government lets you pay 97 cents less income taxes per day. No deductions whatsoever if you are handdicaped.
