Cub cadet Lt1042, Hydrostat , Kohler 19HP Twin Cam.
It has 160 hours on it. how do I set the drive pedal? Forward is so so -- reverse is really slow .
I don't think this unit has a way to either check or top off the rear end ?
I want to get the drive pedal set so it has decent forward and reverse please.
pictures are fantastic if possible - - or even a video . Thanks !

If somebody else is familiar with this beast I will give them first shot. Otherwise, I can probably help, but will turn the "pictures" request back on you. It sounds like the control linkage to a hydrostatic trans needs to be adjusted. That should be an easy task, but I will need to see what you are working with. I will search for info on the LT1042, but don't hold much hope on finding just what I need. Examining what you have is probably the most practical way to investigate this.

You may want to search online for a repair manual. There are sites that have manuals available for free download.

Dabunk was sent some links in regards to these golf carts. Maybe we could find those in that old thread, I think I uploaded a manual also or pdf it in some way.
