Good Morning Gents,

Fired up the ole Chevy this morning and the check engine light shined at me. Read the code and it looks to be a P0135, which looks to be the oxygen sensor, bank 1 sensor 1. Any comments or insight? Where is the O2 sensor located?

Thanks in advance.

It's a heater code for the front sensor on bank one.

We use an amp clamp and measure the current the heaters are drawing. If there's one that's real low or zero amps we disconnect and apply 12V directly to the heater and see if it's the same. If so, sensor is bad, have good current now, have to check the circuit.

Hint, you can load heater circuit via pcm.

However, this may be of interest to you. I remember working for them back in the day, swappin out an o2 just came back, needed a reflash.
