I have a 2002 Toyota Tundra that the check engine light has come. The code # was P1135. We found out that the code is for Air Fuel Sensor Heater Circuit Response. I don't have a clue what to check or repair from this. Anybody know what to do to fix the problem?
Thanks

What engine?

The code you're receiving indicates a problem with the HEATER CIRCUIT for BANK 1 SENSOR 1, which on the V6 is located firewall side of the exhaust manifold.

The problem could be the relay, wiring or sensor. On the O2 sensor (A/F sensor in Toyota speak) measure the resistance between the RED/WHITE (B+) and BLACK/RED (HT) terminals. Sensor cold should read 0.8 to 1.4 ohms, and hot should read 1.8 to 3.2 ohms.

If you don't get those readings (yours will likely be open if bad) and only THEN should you replace this sensor (with an OEM Toyota part). Part is not cheap, over $200 list. Otherwise, check the easy and cheap to replace relay, and the wiring.
