I bought a decent code scanner, and it didn't detect any anomalies in the charging system. I also used it to turn off the CEL and TRAC lights, although the P2810 is permanently stored, and that instance of it won't go away. I test drove it, and it drove fine and the lights didn't come back on. I'm thinking maybe the bad battery had something to do with it. Last night, I changed the driver's front wheel bearing / hub; it had been making noise for awhile and I just didn't have time to get to it.

My daughter is driving it now; I told her if it comes back on again, don't panic but just let me know.
