The chevy 2006 K1500 is due for a trans fluid and filter... thats straight forward, I want an additive to add. Is it lubeguard or B&G trans additive can't remember the one thats recommended- I can visualize the product cant remember the name. :help.

BUT which one... the word universal always scares me. Anyone know the exact product name or no# ?

Kev:
The one that transman recommended several years ago was Lubeguard in the red bottle.

Let's see what our new trans expert has to say.

Yep, if you are talking about LubeGard it is definitely the "red" for this GM trans.
