Part number 24....called a damper assembly.,clutch...it's in the hydraulic line between the clutch master and slave......what can go wrong with it? Does it act like a quick take-up valve, similar to what some GM cars add to their master cylinders?
I have a 1990 Accord and it seems to me the rod on the slave cylinder doesn't move far enough to disengage the clutch.

This part is an accumulator, it cushions the clutch apply, helps absorb vibration that you might feel in the pedal. Is it leaking? How many miles on this clutch? Have you tried bleeding the clutch slave unit? It is possbible that it is causing your problem but I have seen very few of these "dampeners" go bad, it's usually air trapped in the system or the clutch is bad. Transman
